This was delicous! I started marinading the fish just a couple hours ahead of fourth dimension. Then I put the two fillets in a 9x9 pan, drizzled most of the marinade over the acme, then baked it in the oven (covered) at 350 for 15 minutes, and then I uncovered information technology and baked information technology at 375 until information technology was done (probably another 10 minutes, I didn't fix the timer). The salsa is great, too. It really makes enough for well-nigh 4+ fillets, just I enjoyed the leftovers with chips, so I don't know that I would ever cut the salsa recipe in half. I paired this with some coconut rice and asparagus. I'll definately brand this again.

Yummy! A piddling messy but worth it. I used JDPOP's advice and accompanied this with the Herbed Rice and Black Beans. Groovy meal.
08/21/2008
This fabricated for a light refreshing dinner. I did add extra jalapeno. I served with herbed rice and steamed asparagus. I near didn't arrive when I saw the calorie and fat content. This must be a typo. A 6oz piece of talipia has roughly 140 calories. The mango has roughly 110 for 1 loving cup which is what my mango chopped up came out to. That is of course divided into for 2 people. The olive oil is high caloric and fatty, but information technology is in the marinade. Well-nigh stays behind in the bag. The calories in the rest of the ingredients is pocket-sized. Nutrition facts on the website need to be more accurate. Not bad dish. Cheers for posting.

Very piece of cake and very tasty! My husband and I both cleared our plates. I rested the tilapia on a bed of long grain rice that was salted, peppered, with a splash of lemon. I can't expect to make once again.
06/10/2008
Awesome Gustatory modality! Just beware, I used a charcoal grill and my marinated fish caused the charcoal to flame upward more than than once! I only used the ingredients listed to grill, and so be careful. To prevent this delicate fish from falling apart while grilling, I marinated it frozen for 40 minutes. As far as the salsa, I only left out the jalapeno. This was considering I served the blimp jalapeno bacon wrap recipe as a side.
08/09/2008
This is very expert and I personally prefer to brand the salsa a twenty-four hour period ahead of time to let the flavors merge.
07/06/2009
I am the submitter of this recipe. As many people have noticed, this recipe makes more salsa than you lot demand for two servings. I like the extra salsa for snacking on, only in retrospect I would rewrite the amounts here. This recipe makes enough tilapia for ii people merely enough salsa for iv. Yous can continue it like it is if you like extra salsa, or simply make one-half the amount of salsa for the 2 fillets. Sorry nigh that!
07/26/2008
Excellent recipe, made information technology with strawberries. My family loved it. Will definitely serve this again.
07/20/2008
I actually fabricated this recipe on a camping trip over a fire - that's how easy it is. My husband and I loved it. This was the first time we tried mango salsa. Excellent meal every bit is - made no changes. The but thing that would make this recipe easier is a mango slicer. I will exist making this dish a lot!
09/28/2009
Wow. Nosotros LOVE this recipe. Not but is information technology fabulous and beautiful when done fully as the recipe states, but just the fish in the marinade (without the mango salsa) is the best marinade I've always had for a fish! Then we now accept tilapia with just the marinade part of this recipe weekly, and add the mango salsa in on special occasions and for guests :). We don't interruption out the grill very often and so I apply the oven recipe that some other reviewer posted: put 4 tilapias in a 13x9 pan (altering the ingredients accordingly), place all the marinade on top, bake in the oven covered for fifteen minutes at 350 degrees. Then uncover and bake at 375 for ten minutes. I serve the fish on top of a bed of rice and spinach. When i serve the fish I pour some of the marinade on top from the 13x9 pan which and then adds a little extra flavor to the fish and acts as dressing for the spinach and rice. So yummy!!!
05/21/2008
My family unit loved this! I didn't make enough. My huband ate 2nd and wanted more than.
03/27/2009
Absolutely fantastic! I can't brainstorm to tell you what a hitting this was. I don't like fish, but this really was the best combination of flavors in my mouth. I didn't grill the fish (live in Minnesota) so I put the fish nether the broiler iii-4 minutes per side. The mango salsa is what makes this dish. The combination of sweetness and hot and peppery was out of this world. If y'all're having fish this night, this is a must!! Cheers for posting Witzken!!
06/25/2008
Awesome! As shortly every bit my hubby took a seize with teeth, he proclaimed that this is a v star recipe. Very like shooting fish in a barrel to brand. I followed the directions exactly every bit written. Personally I don't care for fish, however fifty-fifty I accept to admit this recipe is fantastic.
04/17/2012
Party in my mouth!! I followed the recipe except I didnt add together jalepeno, because the ones I had were As well hot. I broiled @ 350 covered for 15 minutes, then uncovered for almost 10 minutes. Will def make over and over again. The mango salsa was very dissimilar, just so succulent.
07/22/2009
I'one thousand one of those people that has always sworn by the rule that meat and fruit do not belong together in the same dish. You would not catch me eating pineapple on my pizza...but this recipe made me change my mind!! I took a chance, gave information technology a endeavour and loved it. My husband loved it too. Just the correct balance of salty and sweet, sour and hot. A taste explosion! Likewise, it fits on the Weight Watchers plan without any problems. The nutritional data on this recipe is all wrong unless you plan on consuming all of that oil left in the bag when you lot take the fish out of the marinade. I reduced the oil in the marinade to two tbsp and added a niggling water. 3 oz of tilapia (2 points), 1 bespeak for the oil absorbed into the fish, and 1 point for ane/2 cup of the mango salsa = 4 points...yummmmm :)
05/04/2011
This was soooo good! Marinating the fish for as long equally possible helps and I like how the flavors piece of work together. I served with jasmine rice and some steamed zucchini. The sauces from the fish and salsa mesh well and were good mixed in with the rice. The salsa is succulent, but I would definitely add one or two more than jalepenos for my taste. Also, I baked the fish in foil with the sauce over it for nearly 20 minutes at 350 and it turned out perfect. The moisture stayed locked in and it cooked well. I'll definitely be making this again.

this has go i of our favorite Summer-time Tilapia recipes. Yet, I do simplify it quite a bit! Instead of all the marinade ingredients, I simply marinate Four 6oz. tilapia filets in zesty Italian salad dressing for 10-fifteen minutes, then broil them with the dressing coating for eight minutes per side at 350. (MUCH easier!) ~ I also crook a little on the Mango Salsa -- I don't like treatment jalepeno peppers, so I used a 4oz. can of chopped green chiles & 1/8 t. of cayenne pepper! (same upshot!). NOTE: The salsa REALLY needs to sit overnight to let the flavors alloy! ~ Oh--one more thing: if you don't already know how, Google the proper manner to dice a mango & it will make your life a lot easier! (Piece from top to bottom down each side of the hard middle cadre; then dice each half (Not all the style through the pare) and spread it backwards (like a broad open palm of your hand) and the trivial cubes only popular off! ~ So, Witzken, thanks for the recipe -- we enjoyed it four-5 times this past Summer & will have it once again occasionally during the Winter for a little tropical suspension!
07/11/2015
Simply delicious! Healthy, filling, easy to set up, what else could you inquire for?! I served this with coconut rice(recipe too from this site) and it was a friction match made in heaven!
03/28/2010
This was actually good. The salsa had a cracking, crisp, crunchy, and fresh flavor. The tropical colors looked very appealing. The fish came out just right and tender. I fifty-fifty had enough salsa leftover for a spinach salad with almonds and mandarin orange the side by side day. No demand for dressing because the season was that skilful. You can also utilize canned mango to save time.
03/13/2009
Delicious! Salsa was awesome and fish had a nice - almost sweet - flavor. I baked the fish on convection for 25 minutes in foil - perfect!
08/28/2008
This is delicious, the leftover salsa is also really good with crabcakes.
x/28/2008
I thought this was delicious - I baked the fish in the oven at 375 for about 25 minutes. The salsa was astonishing, and it looks so groovy on the fish!
10/27/2011
One of my favorite fish dishes to make! I actually use peaches vs mango and like the switch. This went along nicely with "Quinoa and Blackness Beans" side dish on here also as the "Dark-green Bean Bundles" recipe.
05/25/2008
This was not bad! I used mahi mahi instead of talapia because that'southward what I had in the house. The mango salsa disappeared. The fish was nice and juice and I loved the grilled season. Since my fillets were frozen I marinated them for near 5 hours and quick grilled them. Delicious! Fabricated the Herbed Rice and Spicy Black Bean Salad from this site to go with information technology. The flavors really went well together. Added some steamed broccoli and it was a wonderful summer meal.
06/xix/2009
Flavorful! I added fresh pineapple, pear & avocado in with the salsa and used honey instead of carbohydrate. The leftover salsa is also great with tortilla chips. We're eating way besides much taco salad these days so this worked out perfect.
07/26/2009
This is probably the all-time dish I have ever made from Allrecipes. I followed the recipe, with a few slight modifications: grilled fish on cedar planks, and slightly less jalapeno. Information technology turned out astonishing!!!
06/12/2013
This was an first-class dish! I cut the oil in half, only marinated for 30 minutes b/c I didn't have time a full 60 minutes to wait, and cooked each fillet for iv minutes on my George Foreman grill. I served it with long grain wild rice and mixed veggies. Yummy!!
07/26/2009
Excellent and easy recipe! I made the salsa a day alee (made it with mangoes and strawberries!). I don't have a grill (I live in an apt) but followed another reviewer's baking tip: 15 minutes @ 350 degrees covered and 10 minutes @ 375 degrees uncovered. Will definitely add blackness beans to the leftover salsa and enjoy with chips.
08/04/2008
When in a hurry, I use Harry & David'southward Mango salsa. I also bake information technology in the oven instead of grilling. It even so tastes nifty. Delicious!
07/10/2008
I followed the recipe, except I forgot to choice up jalepeno peppers... turned out great anyways. Besides did a few boneless, skinless chicken chest--used the marinade--turned out fabulous! Served with spinach salad and jasmine rice. **Did not grill, cooked on stove
02/27/2009
My family loved this recipe. I've made it twice so far. The first time as written and was terrific, the second time my mango wasn't ripe enough for the salsa so I made information technology with strawberries and a xanthous bell pepper. That was wonderful also! Next fourth dimension it'southward going to be papaya and light-green bong pepper! You could even brand this with chicken instead of fish and it would be delish! Thanks so much for this recipe!
07/01/2009
wow...I love this! Slap-up style to make tilapia flavorful. I used the cilantro in the marinade instead of getting the fresh parsley too, and all lime juice. Too addd some chopped cherry-red tomatoes to the salsa because I had them and they needed used. Was neat, and honey having leftover salsa to eat with fries. Have made it twice now, and will practice and then over again!! I didnt use the jalapeno pepper in the salsa because I dont care for information technology, merely did add some reddish pepper flakes..maybe a teaspoon. gave it a lilliputian bite.
07/06/2011
Great receipe, just what I like.
08/xiv/2012
Corking! Salsa was easy, I've never fabricated a mango salsa earlier! Too, grilling fish was easy, I'd e'er been afraid of that too. This ones a keeper!
06/20/2012
Made twice in 3 days! Cutting back on jalapenos. Salsa was good after 2hrs but even meliorate overnight. New favorite!
07/01/2008
The fish had great flavor. I loved the marinade. I will use it over again for just the fish. The salsa was good, but it could accept been better if I'd had a sweeter mango.
06/14/2013
I take been wanting mango salsa for a long time but had yet to brand it. This recipe was "FANTASTIC!" I followed it to a "T." The fish was great. My family unit really enjoyed this and I will be making this quite often!
07/21/2011
Delicious just every bit it is!! Served with rice and a vegetable and was raved about by my family!
03/23/2011
Made this for guests and got rave reviews. I did add together avocado and cilantro to the salsa as suggested and information technology was gobble down skilful by itself.
06/19/2008
PERFECTO! Only follow the recipe, and you will please, and please some more! Only proposition: If cooking on a charcoal grill like I did, use a set of fish spatulas to avert having the fish fall apart every bit you flip information technology. As well, this volition help avoid having the fish undercooked in spots; due to the fearfulness of having it cease up in pieces every bit you lot try to insure it'south fully cooked. -Rafi
06/29/2008
Awesome recipe! Simply I'd say it feeds only 2.
08/ten/2009
This recipe was quick, piece of cake and most of all Deliscious!!!! Very refreshing on a hot summertime day. I followed the recipe exactly and wouldn't change a thing. The salsa is also good with tortilla chips and I recall would be great on grilled chicken besides. This volition definitely get a summer regular!!!!!
06/21/2009
Wonderful recipe! Advice: Use gloves when handling the pepper! This may seem like obvious advice. Later experiencing the neverending burn down that seemed to take no remedy, I believe that all recipes involving peppers need to have this advice added. The burn feels every bit painful as an oven burn.
05/17/2012
Fantastic! Served w/asian coconut rice from this site & it was an excellent pairing! :)
07/09/2011
This was so very delicious! The Tiplapia itself was average but the salsa was incredible! The marriage a 5 star! I used TJ's frozen mango chunks; they are easier all around! Information technology is so tedious to cutting a whole mango! TJ's mangos are frozen but, fresh. They thawed nicely in the salsa and so so much easier to chop into fragmentary pieces! This recipe is a do- again :)
02/08/2010
Everybody loved this; even the super picky 11 year old! I thought the mango salsa was a great accent, even so, the rest of the family preferred to consume the fish on its ain...I've made this three times and it but doesn't disappoint!
05/25/2009
This is in my top 3 recipes I've ever made from allrecipes. Just as the recipe calls for. Perfection.
06/11/2009
SOO Proficient! This was a hitting with my hubby and he wants information technology again!!
04/23/2009
this recipe "is to dice for" ! My husband and kids loved information technology as well as myself ! I didn't change annihilation but did add a little more garlic than telephone call for considering we love garlic. Great recipe !
07/eighteen/2011
I actually liked this. It'due south a different blend of flavors for us, but very interesting, very easy, and very "summery" - we loved it. Definitely do the salsa a day ahead.
08/17/2010
I used the Mango Salsa Recipe and information technology was great! I merely used half of the jalapeno instead and information technology still added a nice heat.
03/09/2011
Cooked it in the oven at 350 for 20min. covered and it turned out very moist. Next time will need to add more jalapeno. This was very good and easy to brand.
12/05/2011
This was a little time consuming, but pretty like shooting fish in a barrel overall! The fish was fantastic, but adjacent time I would use 2 mango's, I feel like the amount of onion and cilantro was overpowering in the salsa.
04/21/2009
I made this to surprise my hubby, and ended up surprising myself! This was absolutely AMAZING.
07/05/2013
I am non a large fan of mango... this was outstanding! I needed to increase the corporeality simply merely had ane mango, and then I used a scattering of fresh strawberries. I too didn't take jalapeno; notwithstanding I did have Grampas pepper enjoy. Couple small spoons of that. YUMMY!!!!
01/18/2010
i of my best recipes served with grilled pineapple information technology was astonishing
01/12/2010
I dearest this recipe. Fresh and healthy
x/05/2011
I made this for dinner tonight and we loved it! The only matter I changed was to pan-fry the fish. We'll exist having this again.
07/29/2010
I Dear this recipe! I've made information technology several times and information technology'due south ever a hit! Last time I fabricated it the power went out in the center of preparation. Not to worry, I lit some candles in the kitchen and turned on the gas stove. Using my griddle the fish turned out merely fine! Gonna endeavor information technology with Mahi Mahi this night...
11/21/2010
For the tilapia: I used Aldi frozen tilapia, seasoned every bit directions stated and broiled in the oven at 350 for nigh 45 minutes. Turned out moist, flakey and delicious! For the salsa: I doubled the mango amount and used cilantro paste in place of fresh cilantro. The salsa was to dice for!!!! I can't wait to try this recipe again with some of the suggested variations (similar strawberries in place of the mango).
11/08/2011
This was pretty good with a greenish mango. Endeavour it over again with a ripe one.
10/11/2011
Best matter I have fabricated from this site. I used a dissimilar but similar mango salsa recipe only because I knew my family loved it, merely the fish was Amazing! I did not grill it. Only threw it on the skillet with a footling oil. YUM! We were fighting the next mean solar day over the leftovers.
08/07/2008
First-class recipe. I added a footling bit more than jalopeno to the mango salsa because we idea it needed a fiddling more bite but it tasted great either way. I besides baked the fish because our grill ran out of gas and it wonderful tasting.
04/xiv/2009
Took other'southward advice and used cilantro instead of parsley. Very tasty! Take already made this twice.
02/10/2012
Ordinarily everyone in my family unit hates fish, and we try to take it every Fri, so every week I attempt a different recipe to please them. This one finally succeeded! Everyone loved it! Cheers and so much!
10/18/2011
I made this with frozen bass from fishing season surplus. I didn't have all the ingredients, so I didn't use a sweetness pepper, just added i jalapeno, 1 cherry-red republic of chile, and 1 light-green chile cut up in large pieces so I could selection them out after their flavors had merged with the rest of the dish (I like spicy, simply not too hot). I made the salsa the night before and then marinated it with the fish for almost an hr earlier cooking. Then I cooked all of information technology in a non-stick skillet until the fish was done and the salsa was charred a fleck. Lastly, I sprinkled paprika on summit of the fish with a fleck of lime zest and lime juice. I served information technology with colored toasted tortilla chips on a bed of fennel and jasmine rice with lemon and lime. The dish smelled wonderfully fragrant (not at all fishy due to the citrus acids) and tasted heavenly! Finally something else to make with bass other than fish and chips! The bass is not as good as the tilapia, but it is however quite skillful:)
07/08/2011
Excellent! Like shooting fish in a barrel, fast and succulent!
xi/05/2011
The salsa is the all-time role of this recipe!
07/08/2009
For someone who is learning to eat fish I accept to say this was pretty skilful. My just complaint was the potent taste of the cilantro vs the delicate flavors of everything else. So when I do make this over again I may either cut the cilantro in half of leave information technology out all together.
06/17/2008
I was looking for a good tilapia recipe to serve my girl, who really likes this fish. This recipe was fantastic! I doubled the salsa ingredients, only because I knew it would exist greedily eaten, and I grilled the fish on our gas grill using mesquite wood. This fabricated the fish taste even meliorate. The marinade contributed a lot to the flavor and kept the fish moist. Everything was gobbled up quickly, and I will make this dish again and once again. Thanks for a great recipe!
04/01/2009
I would requite this ten stars if I could!! I used the George Foreman grill to cook these equally others suggested, and they turned out great. Otherwise, I followed the recipe to a T. I don't even similar fish, but this was crawly. Thanks for this corking recipe!
08/02/2009
The salsa is perfect. The marinade for the fish has too much oil. To cook the fish I lightly oiled foil, placed the fish added the seasonings, sealed and grilled. Served with the salsa. My husband and I loved information technology. Thanks for sharing.
02/05/2010
The salsa was good, but the prepping of the magos was hard being my first time ever cutting one myself.
07/22/2008
Much easier than I thought. Married man and the kids loved it
06/03/2010
This is absolutely delicious! The salsa was a little tart for my taste, and so next time I will probably only use i tbsp lime juice/ane tbsp lemon juice. I grilled on my George Foreman also, about v minutes and it came out perfectly. I served with a side salad and coconut rice (cup of uncooked rice, prepared; coconut milk to taste - I used well-nigh 1/2 cup; ane tsp salt; three/4 tsp sugar; ii tbsp chopped cilantro). Everything turned out wonderfully and there were no leftovers. Thanks for sharing!
08/12/2012
The mango salsa is to die for. Keen recipe. The fish was a little bland and needed something to spice it up. The salsa killed it. Squeamish combination.
03/12/2009
Wonderful! I used strawberries instead of mangoes, and while they seemed like they could have used a lilliputian extra sweet when they were on the fish, the rest was perfect when I mixed the leftover salsa with black beans. I made additional meals past combining the black bean/salsa salad with rice, which I heated in the microwave, and it was the perfect hot lunch to take to piece of work.
05/23/2009
Salsa was terrific. I also was a little worried almost the mango - we don't traditionally utilize fruits in our salsa; my hubby was VERY sceptical - but we both loved it. Leftover salsa mixed with black beans was neat over a salad the next day.
05/26/2010
I was so excited to brand this after how great of reviews it had, but I was totally disappointed with it. I made iii changes, I used strawberries (which the recipe suggested instead of mangos), I left out the jalapeno (also hot) and I had to broil it instead of grilling it. I made the salsa a day early (as suggested in recipe) and it was easy and didn't take much time merely I establish that the strawberries were actually soggy and I didn't enjoy the flavour. The fish actually tasted amend to me without the salsa than with it. I don't call up I would make this once again.
07/28/2009
Cracking recipe. Actually loved the mango salsa. Want to attempt with strawberries too.
03/10/2009
broiled it at 350 for 10 minutes, flipped information technology. v minutes more. and then a few minutes nether the broiler.
07/07/2011
Yum. Me! Incredible!
07/15/2010
Easy to brand and delicious. Thanks for the recipe!
06/24/2011
My husband and I both loved this! I left out the jalapenos because we don't similar anything spicy. It was so good!
06/21/2010
This was astonishing!!!! What a fresh tasting dish! My hubby loved information technology and keeps asking for it! I didn't accept any parsley and information technology was fine without it. I had no idea how to peel a mango so that was heady. I should be improve at information technology next fourth dimension. ;)
08/xix/2008
Really good. I too was scrambled for time though and used my george foreman grill. I followed another reviews directions and it turned out perfect. Refreshingly proficient.
xi/06/2009
I'm not a big fan of fish, only everytime I gear up it for my family I marinate it like this. I even similar it later on fixing it like this. The mango salsa is a must!
08/22/2008
The mango salsa is absolutely incredible. A definite "must try."
12/16/2008
Made this recipe every bit is but tossed the tilapia on a grill pan... and so easy and delicious! I plan to make this once more and again.
06/09/2008
WOW! What a great meal for my dinner party. I enjoyed making the Mango Salsa and because it fabricated and so much, I chilled some and served part of it as an titbit with baked Nachos. It was fantastic. The fish had such a wonderful season with the maranade. I institute it a lilliputian hard to grill becuase Tilapia is somewhat fragile, but I made sure the grill was oiled proficient and was hot. Some of the fish bankrupt apart which fabricated the presentation a petty hard, but that didn't affair because it was so adept. I highly recommend this if yous similar fish, fifty-fifty if you don't information technology'south so mild with the Mango Salsa yous wouldn't even know it was fish. Give it a try!
07/29/2011
wonderful--made as written.
08/09/2008
This was a great recipe and turned out perfect. I had never peeled/pitted a mango though and it was pain! I idea information technology would pop right out similar a peach.
08/26/2008
This was flavorful and juicy. I didn't even make the salsa, he said information technology didn't demand it.
05/28/2009
This is an Fantabulous recipe. Absolutely delicious on a summer dark. I've likewise but made the salsa and served it with chips. That was a huge striking! I served the salsa at a political party and people devoured information technology. This salsa is besides skillful with shrimp fajitas! Cheers for the recipe.
07/27/2009
Really good. My husband, who doesn't like fish, cleaned his plate. I used nectarines considering I couldn't find a mango at the store.
03/10/2010
Excellent. Perfect balance of flavors. My married man isn't a mango lover, but the acerbity in the salsa really appealed to him and he loved it. Thank you! :)
07/10/2011
made with strawberries instead of mango. Then practiced!!
05/03/2011
the fish came out delicious even though the fish was frozen it gave information technology a peachy taste, I did add sazon completo and a little more garlic, my husband loved it!
05/18/2009
so expert. even my hubby loved it and he does not like fruit mixed with regular dinner food. i did not have red onions or ruddy pepper and then I used white onion and green pepper. Cant look to try once again with the right ingredients - regardless is was succulent. I had it with black beans and couscous.
